Chateau Versailles Montreal Reviews
Cute Boutique Hotel Sep 04, 2010
This was a very pleasant and charming boutique hotel located on Rue Sherbrooke Ouest. The location was convenient and the proprietor of the hotel, Le Meridian, has made sure that the staff are held to a very high standard.
We arrived at the hotel at 1pm, but were told we could not check-in until 3pm.. Despite making us wait, the service staff was very attentive and nice. The decor of the hotel was very cute and not over-the-top. The room was quaint, but clean and quiet. The hotel lacked some modern amenities, but most rooms had wireless internet access (a huge plus). Quality toiletries and a clean bathroom were also appreciated.
In the morning we received a complementary breakfast. It was the standard travelers fare, nothing too fancy. One huge benefit was the front desk attendant's ability to give directions. They were very helpful in directing us toward every site that we wished to see. Overall, not the best hotel I've stayed at in Montreal, but worth a visit.
