It is a quick trip on the interstate from Milton past towns like Hurricane and Nitro, crossing the Kanawha, and into Charleston, the capital of West Virginia. The capitol dome looms over the city, covered with gold. Spend a peaceful moment under the trees admiring the river from the capitol steps. You might want to do this on a Saturday or Sunday, as parking is scarce on weekdays. With a population of 200,000, this is going to be your best chance for a big city in West Virginia.

Charleston, West Virginia, USA -› Santa Teresa, New Mexico, USA -› ...

This is the LAST Blog for my New Mexico series...this is where my 2007-2008 Iraq deployment started... After 3 days of hitting the road hard, i am home..for awhile. If you dont kno already, this chicka is goin to Iraq. I found out about this 2 weeks ago. I had been on this Border Patrol mission deployment for 11 months and now, i am back home for 2 weeks and gonna be gone for another 12 months. It is the name of the business, it's what i signed up for i guess. Wish i could explain about it ...
