Chao Phraya Princess Cruise Bangkok Reviews
Exclusive yet affordable dinnercruise! Jul 07, 2009
The Chao Phraya Princess is an experience beyond the average and the price is very affordable.
We paid 1.300 THB/each including transfer from our hotel.
Right from the moment you step onto the River City Pier you start to feel the exclusivity. All participants in the dinnercruises gets a sticker so the staff can seperate each passenger when the boat arrives. But on the Princess you also recive an Orcide - fake though but very beautyfull.
Then when you enter the boat you are greeted by the very beautyfull tones of a live Saxophone, something that really set's the ambience from the first second.
Your waiter will take your drink order and once the boat sets off from the pier dinner is served. It's a huge buffet of mainly Thai but also a selection of international dishes - and there's more food then you can eat in a lifetime.
The Princess cruises up along the Chao Phraya past the major attractions like Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn), The Grand Palace, Rama VIII Bridge, Wat Kanlaya,The National Musseum and National Theatre.
During and after the dinner will you be entertained by a band performing popular music from an international program.
The whole thing takes about 2½ hour and is definately one of my best experiences in Bangkok so far!

The Chao Phraya River is the major river of Thailand, pass through 9 provinces from Nakhon Sawan, the province in lower part of northern region, to central region, pass through Bangkok, and end at gulf of Thailand.
If you only consider the river itslef you wont find it atrractive But the night life of chao phraya is the best thing the anyone can ever have at Bangkok. I booked a trip by WTS of Chao phraya pricess cruiser.Chao Phraya River It started about 7:30pm.
I supposed to have a diiner and the ride but ….. wait. there was a male and female singer singing famous english songs. live saxophone music and ammmmmm oh yes traditional classical thai dance. they moved some of the tables and chairs aside from the Top deck to Dance.
There was a a very fine buffet. live music performance and spectecular view of historical places along the chaophraya river i had Shripm rice and spegettie.
The Good bye song was awesome they were dancing and moving along with the beats and saying good bye to us.
This dinner may be little expensive THB 1,250/person But believe me, this experience is so stylish and unforgettable!
