From my trip to thailand in 2004. I did a bit of bangkok and islands

Amazing trip, no worries..... Just good food, dirty trains, awesome cocktails, relaxed beaches and a few raindrops

I stayed in a 4 star hotel along the seafront called Oa Nang Buri, the staff were very friendly and eager to make me happy at thier hotel (and also stay longer). I have attached a little review of the hotel to the bottom  of this blog .I rented a bicycle from a German shop owner in town , for only about 100 bhat  per day and kept it for 3 days.I cycled the whole seafront and also onto the beach and left it there when i went in the sea . The water was so shallow that i could walk out...

Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Guilin, Yangshuo, Xian, Kunming, Qingdao, Hangzhou, Cheng Du, Dalian, Nanjing, Suzhou, Dali, Lijiang, Xishuangbanna, Shenzhen, Chang Bai Shan, Zhouzuang, Shenyang, Harbin, Tai'an, Weifang, Jinan, Weihai, Yantai, Zhuhai, Taishan, Huangshan, JuiJiGuo, and Tibet. Li Shui, Yue Qing, Hangzhou, Linghai, Ningbo, Cixi, Yixing.

We moved from Hat Rin to Krabi, which is on the mainland but on the other side. We caught another ferry/bus combination, which ended up taking much longer than we'd wanted and we missed a whole day of sun. We were starting to worry about the state of our tans. We met two lovely lovely Israeli girls, Noaa and Hagiit, and decided to go to Railay (the climber's beach) with them. To get there, we had to get yet another longtail. This one was driven by a twelve year old boy and I feared for my lif...

Krabi is just too beautiful.  It was so great lying on Railey beach.  Hadn't been to a real beach for years I almost forgot what sea water feels like.  Ton Sai beach is just a short stroll from Railey beach, one can walk from one to another when the tide is low.  We got ourselves lost in the many cozy bars along Ton Sai beach until it was almost too dark to walk back, though we continued bar hopping and ended up at a funky bar well hidden in the bush.  I regret not ta...

Sort of a holiday within a holiday..I am currently on a working holiday visa in Australia until January but decided to spend 3 weeks traveling around Thailand with a friend!
