Changping Vacation Guide

Changping District (Simplified Chinese: 昌平区; Traditional Chinese: 昌平區; Hanyu Pinyin: Chāngpíng Qū), formerly as Changping County, is situated at the suburb of northwest Beijing.
Jiutai Road (九台路) in northern Changping District

Changping District is rich in natural resources, mineral products and rural products. It is holding three major rivers like Wenyu River and Jingmi Headwater Channel, and four reservoirs such as Shisanling and Taoyukou.

The Ming Dynasty Tombs are located in Changping District. There are 13 Ming Tombs but only 3 of them are opened for public. Chang Ling is the biggest and best preserved Tomb of Ming dynasty. It is the tomb of Emperor Yongle and Empress Xushi (reign 1403-1424).
