The Chandler Hotel is located near the Empire State Building, on East 31st. There was no restaurant (breakfast was available for an extra charge, free tea, coffee was always available) on site, but it does have a bar. The room was nice enough, the bathroom looked new, but was very small. The shower head was directly overhead, with plenty of water, but you had to go past the shower head to turn on the water, and most likely will get cold water on you before the you adjusted the water temperature. The bed was maybe a little on the soft side. An iPod docking station sits on the nightstand, which also acts as your alarm clock. Wireless internet was freely available. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had loaner umbrellas from the front desk.
