Beautiful decorated chinese temple Jun 01, 2011
I had read about it in the travel guide about Malaysia and I love visiting temples. So, this one was added to the list of places to visit in Kuala Lumpur.

The Buddhist temple was build in 1906 and is one of the oldest surviving temple in the city. The wood carvings, as well as the stone carvings are beautifully done and depict scenes from life & history of ancient China.

Karena and I went inside, "greeted" by the smoke of the burning inscent. Inside, the carvings and decorations were even more impressive.

If you're in Jalan Petaling (Chinatown), then you might consider going for a short visit. It's worthwhile :)
