Tours, France -› Villandry, France -› …
Chateau de Chambord is the largest chateau in the Loire Valley, the most visited and the most pictured in travel books. We've all seen pictures of this Chateau - in spring, autumn, winter and summer, during sunlight, dawn and dusk. We've seen the lake, the various angles of the chateau and th…

Today we are going to visit Chambord, a chateau near La Loire. The fastest way to it (not by toll road) is magnificent. Fields of wheat, sunflowers (a bit early but yet they are yellow) and beautiful buildings wait to be snap shot’, and they still do. (I could not stop on the way to Chambord, and…

Paris, France -› Versailles, France -› …
First of all, France is AMAZING and it was bittersweet coming back home. I guess that just gives me an excuse to go back though! I went to Le Havre, Normandie, Bretagne, Loire Valley, and L'Ile de France. I loved every part of it, the chateaus, the beaches, the people. Awesome experience.

As you can see in the photos, we got some beer on the way haha. It is legal for the passenger to drink in France also.... just FYI lol.
The castle was huge and the details of the architecture towards the top was very enjoyable. We were short on time at this point, though, and opted not to go in (…

I have many more to add from various trips but this is a start. I highly recommend taking a train to Blois because there are castles everywhere and this is just one of them.

Paris, France -› Honfleur, France -› …
One weekend, we took a field trip to the Loire Valley and stayed the night in Blois. There was a typical, tourist-y "spectacle son et lumière" (sound and light show) at Blois Castle, depicting the town's history, at night, and a little sight-seeing around town. Blois, however, is not a…

Travelling around Europe for 2weeks (AMS-GER-FRANCE-BELGIUM).
Exciting country for most of its medieval architecture, chateau and cultural sites which deserves protection for the benefit of all humanity.
So, lets start to drive around and see some part of Europe.

Valbonne, France -› Antibes, France -› …
In the fall semester of 2005 I had the chance to live in Valbonne, France while I was studying. It was this that gave me my jumpstart in travelling. The chance to have a place I could come back to while I was in Europe made much easier for me to travel the continent pretty much every weeked. Not only did I visit some cities outside France, but I also got the chance to visit some nice French cities and towns along the way. Evidently Paris was at the top ofthe list.
