Chalet Kammleitn has been newly renovated, and offers our guests a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. All bedrooms are equipped with en-suite facilities. We have a selection of twin, triple and quad rooms, some with balcony and having the fantastic views of the Italian Carnic Alps, and the Nassfeld slopes. Debbie and Spencer own and run Chalet Kammleitn, and offer all guests, a warm and friendly welcome. Watschig is a small Austrian village, just 3kms from the base of the mountain activities, and 6kms from the cosmopolitan town of Hermagor. Chalet Kammleitn is right on the banks of the river Gail, and has direct access to the main cycle and Nordic Walking track - R3. We are in a beautiful countryside setting, with breathtaking views of the Carnic Alps. Both Slovenia and Italy, are only a 40 minute drive, for those wanting to visit more than one country. We are a 1 hour drive from Klagenfurt airport, and approximately 40 minutes drive from Villach. We do not recommend our accommodation for people wanting a convenient airport/city stopover, due to the distance from Klagenfurt. Payment on arrival, only in Cash please!
