What a wonderful place to relax and unwind. I have to second jcravens' comment about the shakes being to die for... I can't remember one I've enjoyed more back in the states. Put Chaila on your "must do" list for in Kabul.

This place is not to be missed if you are in Kabul. Very laid back, cozy decor, and tasty food. The milkshakes are to DIE for (served in a mason jar!). Hard to find even if you have been before, but well worth the visit. Sit outside for lunch and watch the local workers making the pizzas.

Free wireless internet, satellite TV, wood oven pizzas, and milkshakes. Is this too good to be true? Chaila Coffee house will destroy any steriotypes of what life in Afghanistan ought to be like. The owners Khalid and Dave have done an amazing job of combining tasteful Afghan decor, with styling comfort for the expat crowd. On Spring and Summer Wed and Thursday evenings movies are shown on the lawn to an overflow crowd sipping capuccinos or eating the wonderful pizza.
