If you either live or plan to go to Los Angeles, you must try this hole in the wall place.. put on some sandals and shorts.. and sneak in. Once you walk in you get a feel of being in some Latin Museum ... its so artsy and the people there are soo warm, you will love it. I was there on a quite Sunday afternoon, and got to try the cha cha cha sandwich, ohh my.. it was delicious and exceeded my expectations.. now you know, if you are looking for some carribean cuisine, this is your one stop..

Buen apetito!

What a fun place! I just went to Cha Cha Cha in Silverlake for a friend's birthday and it was a really pleasant surprise. It's a bit of a hole-in-the-wall, but the atmosphere is intimate, the Carribean food is quite nice, and the staff is really high energy and attentive. They catered to our group of 30 people with substantial effort that never waned and a glad-to-be-of-service attitude. What a nice surprise, as I would have gotten fed up with all the requests the first 30 minutes =)The food is really lovely, and their crab cakes are a must try! The Argentina Steak looked great, but I had the shrimp in jerk sauce which was really decadent. This is a great spot for a date, for a birthday party, or just for some Caribbean food! On weekends, Cha Cha Cha is open until 11pm, and management is really accomodating if you walk in a few minutes before they close, they will still feed you and keep the kitchen open for you.
