Cha Ca La Vong Reviews
Cha Ca La Vong Something special Aug 28, 2008
If you are in Hanoi you have to eat at Cha Ca La Vong on 14 Cha Ca St.! Maybe they will bring you a menu, but to tell the truth there is nothing to choose at Cha Ca La. There is namely one meal:fish, the most famous and only meal of this restaurant.
Cha Ca is informal and pleasant. A shaky staircase leads you to the restaurant on the first floor that is full with even shaky stairs and tables. On your table is a small charcoalgrill, upon which yourself can prepare your fish. With the fish noodles are served. At the time we were here, there only were Vietnamese people in the Restaurant. Don,t expect a luxe restaurant and a attent service, but it is so nice to eat here!! |

Cha Ca La Vong's located in the Old Quarter in Hanoi. They only have one dish (Cha Ca Grilled Fish). Cha Ca is a fish and noodle dish cooked with peanuts, herbs, tumeric, dill, noodles, spring onions, peanuts and the special Vietnamese sweet sauce. It cost 75,000 dong per person not including the drinks. Part of the Vietnam trip 2006 travel blog |

For dinner, João, Leonor, Rute and I went out for pizza. Miguel and Dani went to eat Cha Ca La Vong, which is a traditional Vietnames dish of Fish. The rest of the group went out for some Italian food. The next day was the toughest of our journey.

Ended the day with a dinner at the famous Cha Ca La Vong (grilled fish), a signature dish not to be missed. Trang Tien plaza offers some shopping with small and big departmental stores within. Turned in early as Hanoians are known to rise and retire early anyday. … The Old Quarters |
