Great mussels, great price May 23, 2010
I´m a huge fan of mussels and have made them at home many times. Unfortunatly in Denver, CO it´s tough to find quality seafood.

San Sebastian is a great place for seafood since it´s right on the sea. The museum even said that they were the ones who developed the farming of mussels.

La mejillonera serves them up quickly and with great flavor. Order at the counter and your bar tender yells out the order to the back. They make it up and it´s ready for you in just a few minutes. The flavors we tried were great and it´s served with bread.

They´ve got beer and sangria on tap. The best part, each plate of mussels (about 8 pieces) was only 3€. It´s slightly more then most tapas orders, but these are bigger then most tapas, hot, and great.
