If you are walking around "La Latina" I recommend you to go there to have some "montaditos". A "montadito" is like a small sandwich, very similar to a "tapa". It is quite original, as you have 100 "montaditos" to choose from. In every table you have a list of all of them and a pencil to mark the ones you want. Then you go to the bartender and they charge you for it and when they are ready, they call you to pick it up!
It is around 1 euro per "montadito", so you eat for very cheap! If you are not sure what to order, try the "platters", there is a 6 piece platter, a 12 piece platter and a 20 piece platter! Everything comes with a good variety of red and white wines.
