Australia IV - This will be an adventurous trip for us. Our plan is to travel from Darwin to Broome and some days around Perth. Depending the weather we'll travel through Kakadu>Litchfield>Katherine & Kimberley >via Northern HWY or Gibb River Rd :-)

unfortunately due to rough weather conditions i didnt get woken up at stupid o'clock to go get the craypots in and fish. darn that weather!!! im not the most seafaring person and with only one life saving arm and a tin boat the size of a small child i wasnt overly keen on hitting the waters!

Brian and I drove 250kms north of Perth in our recently purchased 4WD for a weekend to Cervantes. We visited the Pinnacles National Park, Lake Thetis and the stromatolites. Nothing spectacular but a nice weekend away.

A trip to Australia..... not just a trip but a real life adventure..... and I mean adventure! Wildlife.... awesome 4x4 tracks... chased by huge storms... magical landscapes..... and a love story ... what more could you want!

i've finally managed to escape the oh-so-fascinating world of hedge fund finance, and am now decadently indulging my long-suppressed wanderlust with 15 months on the road and around the world... *note: apart from the odd review (generally of something not found in your standard guide book), this is really more just a map of my travels than a proper blog, but if you want more information on anywhere i`ve been or what i`ve been up to, send me a message and i`ll see if i can rustle something up.

It was hot last night, I had to sleep downstairs in the living room under a fan. I barely slept and was up at 6.45am to catch a coach tour round the main features of the National Park with Danny. We set off first for Nature's Window (via a python snake lying in the road), a rock formation framing the beautiful Murchison River, which was unusually high for the weather.
