Cerro Mar Hotel Albufeira

We recently stayed at the Cerro Mar in old town Portugal, it was more than we had expected, the security is excellent, the apartment was gorgeous and spacious with two balconies one was very large with a lovely Atlantic view, the kitchen was fully equipped with washer, cooker, dishwasher, and more, it was very clean and well kept, the staff were helpful and friendly. There is more than enough pools as we had access to four which was a surprise. We only paid £1336 for a family of four for two weeks and feel we got great value for money. The beach is just a short 5 minutes walk away, there are steps that you have to take to get into the square and to the beach but are fine as long as you dont have mobility problems (kids seem to love them).
The shops and local restaurants are well priced but we found better value for money when we went to the restaurants on the side streets, our favourate was 'O Veleiro' which can be found at the end of the street coming out of the tunnel from the beach.
Overall a perfect location for a great holiday.
