Hola Chica-
I'm from Canada, but have been living in Valencia for the past year. Valencia is much cheaper than Barcelona or Madrid...and if you are careful it can be very cheap. A great way to eat cheap and practice your Spanish is to go to the Central Market ( Mercado Central). Fruits and Vegetables are the best I have ever tasted and for a few Eros you can eat like a King! e-mail me if you want some specific advice about Valencia! |

central market.
For those of you who know DC, the central market is what Eastern Market wants to be...times 25. A very classic market --- dozens of stalls of fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, cheese, spices, bread, sweets, some to-go food, some odd stuff… Off to the races |

We imagined that we lived there, met for a walk to the Central Market and then some cafe con leche.
We had one very unpleasant accident that day, but I am not going to tell that, and I hope I will forget about it one day.
In the evening we said good bye to everyone, got in the car and drove… Day 2: my friends and fruit :) |
