Hong Kong central district is in zijn geheel het beste te zien vanaf Kowloon. Vooral met de lichtshow is het een heel spektakel.

Today the weather was a bit better (the rain stopped for a few hours) so we took the chance and decided to go to Hong Kong Island. In the morning we took a Star ferry from Hung Hom station to Central District station. The ride took arround 5 minutes…Central District station. The ride took arround 5 minutes and is very cheap (HKD 2.20 per person).

As the plane began to desend into Hong Kong international airport, I was already in awe of the Asian landscape, unlike anything I had ever seen before. Another early start this morning, this time we had to make our way across the harbour to the Harbour-Plaza Hong Kong Hotel by 8:30am. This hotel is in a wonderful position right on the harbour. The pool was the best we saw with glass walls that allo…central and western districts, it is 800 meters long, and climbs 135 vertical meters. It takes 20 minutes if you ride all the way standing still. There are over 35 000 people carried daily. After the ride to the top, we dawdled our way through… An enjoyable day |
