Loved Costa Rica, but didn't have a digital camera at the time. wildlife there is absolutely amazing. The quaint town of Sarchi is wonderful. Also Arenal and Volcan Irazu are must sees. Cloud forests are amazing too.

For years I always wanted to come to Costa Rica - and it was worth every day! The nature is of great beauty and compared to other middle and south american regions all is impressively clean and well-organized. The people are self-concious, friendly and open-minded to foreigners who want to get to know their country without playing the "tourist". Not everything is european standard but if you request for that you should travel to Austria...the climate is humid and mos…

The best things about a cruise is the food and destinations! This was my second cruise and they just keep getting better. The sights, places and memories to be made and everlasting.

We arrived in Belmopan just before dark, and Bert, the taxi driver, hit us up immediately. I told him i wanted cheap accommodations so he took us to Eastern Guesthouse, run by "chinaman". The rooms were very basic, but the price was decent. 49 BZD for a double room with a shower but no air condition. After we settled in, we immediately went for a walk about. We got near the bus station and Bert spotted us, and told us he knew where to take us. He dropped us…

I woke up to a beautiful sunrise over the mountains of Totonicapan. We left the house once again for the day’s assignments, and met a Deaf Mayan, Jom, in Xetul, San Cristobal. He welcomed me as if I was an old friend of his. We took to communicating quickly through gesturing, but Marco aided us with the local sign language and ASL. Jom is well known in the area for making the best clothing. He even sells his work to different states in Guatemala and Mexico! He has three machines (tejido e h…
