In a city where good fare is hard to come by, this place was a welcome relief. It is built in an old Belizian industry and sits astride a manmade beach. Its open air environment is especially enjoyable around dusk. The pork chop was decent as was the always popular in Belize, rice and beans.

La Pin~a can be found about 45 minutes walk from PB and 30 minutes or so from Pavones, on the coastal road.
La Pin~a is an Italian owned restaurant, serving delicious authentic Italian food, and is pretty much the only option going, if you want a posh night out on the tiles in Punta Banco. It is...

Delicious hamburgers and burritos! They also have pasta salad with shrimp, which was excellent, among other choices. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable, especially at lunch time. The best place to eat is out on the large deck in the back, which overlooks the sea. Order a couple of ...

Boy, oh boy. I love this place. The food is good and it sells cakes. A great atmosphere pervades here, but the best thing is coffee. Some of the iced coffees elsewhere in the country are a bit rubbish. Not here, the iced cappuchino is excellent. The cakes here are...

This restaurant is a first-class eating establishment. It has a great ambiance to it, with memorabilia all around the walls from Frida Khalo's life and times. The waitstaff are fun and kind, and the restaurant has a good blend of locals and tourists, always a good sign in my book. And the food is to...
