If you are coming to Japan and need a cell phone for business or are just want to have a way for people back home to contact you I recommend a rental/pre paid cell phone from Narita or Kansai airport.
There are many different cell phone providers as Japan is a leader in cell phone technology and usage. Cell phones are constantly incorporating additional functions, such as internet browsers, games, cameras, televisions, and radio's. A rental/pre paid cell phones in Japan are also handy to have if you are travelling around for a few weeks and need to change, check or confirm reservations along the way.
