Celilo Inn The Dalles

I make my way back and forth across the Pacific Northwest often for work. I've been seeing the renovations happening from the freeway driving through town a couple times, so I decided to stop and give this newly renovated place a try.

Coming up the hill, it was a little odd that there were literally, peoples homes on the driveway, but once I got to the top of the hill, I found everything to be first class. The girls working the desk welcomed me and got me settled. I asked where I should eat and they directed me to a great Mexican place in the center of town (the name escapes me now). I quickly dropped my things and went out to eat.

When I came back, I got to get a feel for the room. The mattress was really, really nice. I settled in for some tube on the large flat screens they have in the rooms. Out my window, I watched the sun go down over the river--a spectacular view. The hotel was quiet and I got a great rest. The free coffee and pastries on the way out was a nice touch too.

This place was pure class for a really fair price. I'll be stopping at Celilo Inn again.
