Celesety Inn

After finishing the Annapurna Circuit trek I came back to Pokhara for some R&R with 3 friends. We looked for rooms in Elia Hotel (I've reviewed it as well), there were none. We continued going down the street finally finding Celesety Inn. About 4 stories high with plenty of rooms. we took 2 rooms for 800 Rs. At 200 Rs. a piece per night this place is a find. After one night there my roommate misplaced the key. The staff tried to find it after our searches were declared as a failure. They took it pretty cool and the hotel manager agreed to give us another room with no extra charge. A day later we found the key and gave it back to them. They were really delighted and thankful.

The hotel offers a good efficient laundry service and is also a travel agency. The only real problem with the place is that there isn't anyone among the staff that speaks good English. Oh, and the room's furnishings should be replaced, but hey, it's Nepal...

To sum it up, a nice place to stay if Elia's not available.
