Cedar Grove is the area at the bottom of the canyon from General Grant. There is only one road down the canyon, a beautiful 30 mile trip, from about the six thousand foot level down to the four thousand foot elevation. In Cedar Grove there are several campgrounds, a store and ranger station and visitor center. The Kings Rivers runs along the highway down in the bottom of the valley and fishing for rainbow trout has been a big pastime for many years. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is an ideal spot to spend a very relaxed vacation.
