There's no place like home.

I spent four days in Bohol for a much-needed vacation and two days in Cebu for the Sinulog Festival and some sight-seeing as well. Here's the low-down :-)

Decided to camp with my bestfriends to the South of Cebu. We left around dawn as it was around 3-4hrs drive away. The trip was not as pleasant but getting there is always with exciting anticipation. Although, one of my friends got a house there but we decided to camp on the beachside. The place was public but hardly visited. So laid our tents and just chat the whole night. The stars were amazing, but the sun woke us up so early. White beach in front of my eyes! i cant imagine life w/o beach!

The Sinulog is an annual festival held on the third Sunday of January in Cebu City, Philippines. The festival features a street parade with participants in bright-colored costumes dancing to the rhythm of drums, trumpets, and native gongs.

We had some time today to explore Cebu's historic centre.  It seemed so strange (to me, at least) that there is a little piece of Spain in the heart of Asia ... it felt so South American or even Californian as well.
