Cathedral and El Salvador, Teruel Reviews
Mudejar Teruel 1 Mar 08, 2005
Teruel's Mudejar architecture (Moorish inspired after 1492) is famous throughout Spain. I spent a night in the city and set out next morning to have a look.
The Cathedral looks grea from a distance but its mixture of styles is les good up close, though its tower is pretty inspirational. be sure to go inside because for me its great feature is the superb ceiling.
El Salvador has an interior and exterior tower with a staircase in between.
The very ornamentally decorated (inside) church of San Pedro needs a separate review because of the legend of Los Amantes (The Lovers of Teruel).
