Beautiful Cathedral May 23, 2012
Notre-dame Cathedral is the main cathedral used in the ceremonies of the coronation of the monarchy in France. It is located in Paris on the banks of the Seine river. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and protected as thus. The cathedral is built in the gothic style and has all the features of a dark ages cathedral... Cruciform shape, gargoyles, an incredible nave and spectacular acoustics. You can hear a whisper across the room. There is no fee to get in but there will be crowds at all times.
