 Well located hotel in Madrid Aug 21, 2008
It is one of my favourites hotels in Madrid. It is located in the very center of the city at the "Barrio de Salamanca". From there you have a 5 minutes walk to "Plaza de Colón", just next to Castellana. It is the best shopping are in Madrid, having "calle Goya, "calle Serrano" and "Calle Velázquez" right next to it.
I was very lucky to get one of the "suites" which was incredible. It was on top of the building and had very nice views over the neighbourhood. One of its nicest features was the bathroom! check out the photos. A regular room is about 70 euros a day. The "Parque del Retiro" is about 5 minutes walk from there, and you have a very good ice cream shop just next to it :) Service was also very good, and also we had a very good breakfast!
