The Castle of Chantilly used to be the property of the French Prince. It has been given to the State in 1886 in the will of Duke of Aumale one of the heirs of the Bourbon dynasty.
The Castle gather an interesting painting collections with masterwork from Botticelli, Veronese and other master of the Renaissance.
Beside the collection the huge garden and the park offers a perfect place for a nice promenade.
The city of Chantilly is also known for its grand stables. The national cavalry museum is in Chantilly with daily shows, a museum and the possibility to visit the stables.
