Castle Hama - Hama - TravBuddy

Castle Hama in center city near from noria the (water wheels) and the place over hill so from there can see the noria (water wheels) and see the city from all sides . now there is no castle! I asked the peaple said the earth eat it by earth quake before long long time ago so I dont know this right or not , I will serch about more info and update later.
the castle founded year 5000~6000 B.C. last one life there (Ayyouben) to look to all city and can control about it .
now can see only parts from it and tomb look like Greece or Roman age
now become like park and there games for kids and some shops sell food
and people can go there free any time look to city from all sides . the place in city center .


The Castle of Hama: Situated in the center of the city in wonderful tourist site it is the heart and the first origin of the city. it contains ruins dating back to the 6000 B.C. but it is now a big heap of dust which the ministry of tourism planted trees and set up a big handsome park when the tourism and visitors can spend a wonderful time enjoying the most beautiful sceneries of Hama, the mosques and churches with water wheels at the river and the markets, the sunset!
