Castello del Buonconsiglio Trento Reviews
A must in Trento Jun 15, 2010
This magnificent castle was the official residence of Trento's aristocracy for many years. Used as a prison and as a shooting fortress, its history spans now more than 7 centuries.
You can visit many of its art galleries and enjoy a view of the wonderful frescos on the Castle's walls. They also have temporary exhibitions, in this case they had one about Egypt.
One of the main activities is a visit to the Torre Aquila, where you can admire medieval paintings on the walls.
For those who get hungry after the visit, there is a wonderful restaurant in the facilities.
English audio is available for some of the rooms.
