We were really looking forward to seeing the golden gate bridge in all its splendour. However, it was a 'right peasouper' as you can see from the photos. We travelled north on the coast scenic route and it remained quite foggy. We stopped at a really cool beach and decided to get out. The wind was blowing, it was really misty and the waves were big.
