After a 7 hour journey from Vitoria-Gasteiz, we arrived in Cascais. We headed first of all to the house that we had rented which was simple but fine for our needs, if a little cluttered. So for the evening we headed down into the town of Cascais. It is so beautiful, the architecture and c…

Our friend had told us all about the beach town of Cascais, saying that it was one of the most beautiful places he had ever seen, so we decided to take the train to the lovely Cascais for part of the day and then to Sintra for the rest of the day thinking that we would have time to do both. We swip…

February, I flew to Lisbon to visit a friend who lives there. Lisbon is a charming city, full of character with lots of energy and sunshine! The city center is a mix of narrow street and steep rolling hills, where you can find, it seems, endless cafes, boutiques, and shops.
As one travels 30 km west, he can reach the city of Cascais-which is a charming small village known for its scenic beach!
For a cool night club to visit, check out LUX!

After Cabo da Roca, we drove by the beaches of Guincho. This area is becoming popular for wind surfing, but is still relatively isolated. This is a great area to enjoy the coast without huge crowds, and its just a short drive from the popular Cascais. We stopped in Guincho to eat …

Me and my two friends spent awsome time in Portugal, we've met so many wondreful people and i really fall in love with Lisbon;)), but the Atlantic ocean was so freeeezing..For such a small country, you have many options from which to choose. A San Francisco-esque city, spreading over seven hills which descend into the Rio Tejo-Lisbon is perhaps Europe’s most pleasant and affordable city. Seafood is particularly impressive and you must try a glass of port wine too.

Buses go everywhere BUSCAS is the one out to the north - a round trip and you catch it from just outside the Train s…
