Casapaxi Reviews
Clean, friendly, cheap Jul 17, 2009
Located in the less touristy part of New Town, this hostel is very worth the price. The owner is Italian and speaks English and Spanish. The hostel is more of a guesthouse than a hostel with four rooms two with private bathrooms, and two with a shared. Full kitchen, dining, and sitting area (with TV). Internet located around the corner, a super market about a 10 minute walk away, plenty of small local restaurants, and corner mini markets in the area. Pretty quite at night. Very safe with a key to every door between the outside and your room. A patio to a room with longer stays. Laundry facilities available and daily maid service (except Sundays). The owner is very, very kind and helpful. Arranges early morning taxis and is very concerned for traveling safely. The only downside is that if you do want to go anywhere you do have to take a taxi or bus because it is far out of the tourist strip of New Town or the Old Town.
