After you taste Macaxeira de Noca, the only dish served at Casa de Noca, you will realize the ambience only enhances the cozy and family feeling the restaurant has.Macaxeira is how people in northeastern Brazil calls manioc - which is a kind of root, like potato. Noca's portion is served on a plate, with steaks of carne-de-sol and slices of queijo coalho. Carne-de-sol translates as sun-meat, beacuse it's a kind of beef dried in the sun. Coalho is another brazilian delicacy, a very meaty - and delicious - cheese.Portions are extra-large, with the small one feeding 2-3 people.
