Casa de Grillos B&B Reviews

Apr 28, 2006
This charming B&B is owned and run by a retired couple, Alejandro and Marta. The place has 4 comfortable rooms which are each decorated individually according to something local (glaciers, Calafate trees, etc). It is a little off the beaten track, about 10 minutes walk from the centre of town, and on the edge of the bird sanctuary which borders on the lake (Lago Argentino). Alejandro and Marta are brilliant hosts and really make you feel at home. They are always available with advice on things to do and where to go. The breakfasts are excellent " home made tarts of lemon or apple, home made bread. There is also internet access to pick up mail on the computer downstairs. Alejandro even dropped us by car at the bus station at 2:30am to catch our bus. Pricing is very reasonable. Definitely recommended. http://www.casadegrillos.com.ar/
