Casa Petrarca Oct 06, 2009 Value: Location: Cleanliness: Amenities: Bed: Bathroom & Shower: Service: This charming small hotel only has 8 rooms, located next to Calle dei Fuseri. The place is near to Rialto bridge, and a short walk to Piazza San Marco. We first walk into the area which serves as a reception / reading area and for breakfast in the mornings. We took the 2 rooms, we paid extra for the master room with ensuite bath and canal view, while the other room is just simple bed and wash basin, has a window but no view, and bathroom is shared, situated down the hall. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The master room is spacious, and has stunning views, the canal is a gondola route so we can watch them pass by and serenaded by the music they play. The master room also has a dining table, and we chose to have breakfast in the room, you would too looking at the view we had..
