Safe and Clean Hotel in Centro Dec 07, 2008
Casa La Fe owned by a Brit and his Colombian wife is located in front of Parque Fernando de Madrid. It is a safe, nice looking hotel and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are very basic and the beds were too firm for my liking but I still got a great night's sleep. The bathrooms were new and clean. Breakfast was served on the first floor patio and it was delicious.
There is a small jacuzi/pool on the rooftop which is too hot during the day but a nice place to unwind in at night. The rooms can be booked on-line and the website is very user friendly. If your looking for a nice and safe yet affordable place to stay in centro- I recommend giving this place a try.
