Casa Esmeralda

hi there, I just saw that paula wrote a review about the Casa Esmeralda which is a bar/restaurant and also offers rooms and I thought I join her as I really liked the place as well.

I only stayed there for two nights.
The rooms were very clean and I enjoyed the hot shower in the mornings.
The breakfast in the restaurant was typical costarican and the staff was friendly and helpful answering all my questions.
The location is great, as it is a quiet street but very close to the beach. The central but not 'in the middle of everything' location was perfect for me because everything was within walking distance but I didn't get disturbed by the noises from the bars and restaurants at night.

I would recommend it to everyone!

The restaurant/bar and hotel are located in the center of Samara in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
The friendly costarican staff is very helpful and the food is delicious.

The restaurant is a hot spot for the people living in Samara and is visited a lot, especially during high season as words spread and everyone knows that the food and the service is great.


The rooms, which are located on the first floor are a great size. They each have a private bathroom (with hot showers!!) a TV and air condition.

I stayed there for a week (in low season) and I totally enjoyed my time there.
