Casa Da Feijoada Travel Reviews

Don't miss Brazil's national dish, '''feijoada''' (fay-zho-AH-da), made with black beans and pork. It is typically served city-wide on Saturdays. For connoisseurs of meat, nothing beats a good ''rodízio'' (all-you-can-eat steak houses). An specialized restaurant that serves nothing but the traditional an authentic Brazilian feijoada, is CASA DA FEIJOADA, In Ipanema. Definitely a must try for any tourist in the wonderful city

I love feijoada and had it before in charming little places. I went to Casa da Feijoada in Ipanema and the food was good but way too expensive compared to others in the city, specially when ingredients are so simple. I felt I was paying the price of being a tourist... sorry but wouldn't go there again.
