When in Denver, why not visit the cliffs of Acapulco? Mar 26, 2011
Please read the entire review thoroughly as I will first describe the physical restaurant, then the food!

Located about 15 minutes west of downtown Denver, Casa Bonita ("Beautiful House" in Spanish) is one of the most beautiful recreations of being in a foreign land that I've ever seen! You feel like you're in a real village in Mexico! There's a 14' indoor pool where actual professional divers dive from a cliff about 30' high! During a typical meal, you'll probably experience a serenade at your table by a mariachi band, a show involving a character in a gorilla suit being chased around by another guy with a giant net and a damsel in distress, and of course the cliff divers. Very unique and no additional cost for the entertainment.

Now for the food. During busy times it may take as long as 30 minutes to get through the line. At one point in the line, you'll order your plate then pick it up further down the line, where you'll ultimately walk your tray to your table. Assistance is available if you need it, or if you have kids. There are two basic meal structures; an all-you-can-eat beef or chicken meal for $13.79 or various other plates ranging from $11.79 up to $22.39. Although my dad is usually a beef lover, he only recommends either the $17.09 chicken fajitas if you're looking for their best tasting plate (an 8 1/2 out of 10) or the $13.79 all-you-can-eat chicken if you want the best deal/variety (a 7 out of 10). All platters are served with chips, queso, salsa and sopaipillas with honey!

If you keep in mind that the reason you go to Casa Bonita is to see something that you'll never experience anywhere else, you'll truly enjoy the experience as a whole. (they won't allow you to just walk through the place, so yes, you have to order something!) And make sure you set aside at least 10 extra minutes after you're done to walk around the various hidden nooks and crannies everywhere! It's HUGE! A great place for kids to explore!

Definitely recommended!
