Nice hotel off the beaten track Jan 05, 2007
Medium sized hotel located in a renovated 18th century manor house. The hotel claims they are 3 blocks from the main plaza, the Plaza de Armas, but I think it's more like 6 blocks. The rooms are on the smaller side. Not much room to walk. The rooms are clean and have modern furnishings. The hotel has a reading room, a lounge and a gourmet restaurant. I ate several meals at the restaurant and was always pleased. The dinner menu emphasizes Andean dishes and uses local ingredients. The buffet breakfast offered breads, fruits cereals and an omelette station. I enjoyed my stay here and my biggest criticism is its distance from the Plaza de Armas.
