Carr's Northside Cottages Travel Reviews

Carr's Northside Cottages Feb 09, 2007
I have been coming here for about 6 or 7 years. They offer motel, cottages, townhouses and Chalets. Prices range from $63.00 to $166.00 a night.

They do offer discounts on line at www.carrscottages.com or call 1-800-370-5593. Everyone is very friendly!!!

We stayed at the Laurel Knob Chalet. You climb up the paved road to the chalet. It has two bedrooms, two baths, living room, dining room, fireplace, cable tv with vcr or dvd player, fully furnished kitchen, and two balcony's overlooking downtown Gatlinburg thru the trees.

It's close to the Food City grocery store, walking distance to downtown and there are plenty of resturants. I suggest driving downtown and park all day for $5.00.

The only negative thing I have to say about Carr's is that they are not WiFi. You have to use dial-up..:(

The hotel has 97 rooms, with about half with a mountain view, and half with a creek view. I usually try to get a room on the 4th floor, so I get a better view of the mount...

JohnHuddleston says: This hotel is a DISGRACE. Just like many others, I booked online and the experience of staying at this hotel was too bad to describe, dirty carpet, bad smells, extremely small room. I have pictures of it as well, nothing like what is posted on websites. Due to the awful condition, I could not stay t...
