Carribean Sunset Resorts

Hello All,

I stayed at this hotel on a shoe-string budjet. This isn't an all-inclusive hotel but the staff was friendly and the area was well kepted. Its a little close to a club just down the street so at nights you can hear the music blasting (bring ear plugs for a good nights sleep). The market and beach is within a 5 minute walk. Its also near a Burger King, money exchange place and a Mini-Mart.

The food at the onsite restuarant was really good, no complaints there, try their Jerk Chicken Wrap...exactly what Jerk Chicken should be like. The pool area was very clean and well kepted. The rooms are ok. Be prepared to take very short showers as the water heater is shared by building, so hot water doesn't last too long. The Cable TV worked up until you get above channel 30, then it starts getting a little interference. Hotel staff was really nice and helpful.

I wanted to go on an excursion in the afternoon and the hotel staff was able to schedule it within 3 hours of the excursion. The gym on site isn't much of a gym, just a bike and treadmill, no weights or sauna, etc...this is vacation right??? so no need to work out...

Mesquitos are buzzing around, so keep your windows and curtains closed before the sun sets and you will be ok. The A/C worked as so did the ceiling fan. It didn't get real cold but cool enough. If you get a sunburn you may not need the A/C at all.

I would stay their again. But if you are the kind of person who likes to eat/drink all you can then an all-inclusive resort might be better/cheaper.
