A small palace on top of the highest natural spot in Bucharest May 08, 2009
A delightful story telling location (historic), five star luxury and comfort, friendly staff, the owners are always there to make sure everything is ok.
The services are impeccable, the interiors overwhelming (italian and austrian designers- silk tapestry, authentic wood burning fireplaces). Very close to Parliament's Palace and Mitropolie 24/7 dining and attention. |

An aristocratic stay in Romantic old Bucharest May 08, 2009
Carol Parc Hotel is one of the best hotels i have ever stayed in; starting from the architectural style that is typically romanian ("brancovenesc" style)- the place was actually a palace were King Carol I used to stay , continuing with the interiors that are absolutely unique, lavishing luxury and a lot of good taste.
Location is precious, on top of the highest natural spot in Bucharest (Filaret Hill), next to the Palace of Parliament and Mitropolie (center of Romanian orthodoxy); beautiful view and terrace Staff was great, always smiling and ready to please you, it felt very familiar and comfortable. Great place, great management! |
