Carnestation Reviews

Carnestation is an all you-can-grill type of buffet set in the traditional Korean style. You bring a plate full of raw meat to your table where you grill to your heart's desire. There are a number of side dishes, the best of which are the potato salads. There's a variety of salads and lettuces so you can wrap your meat a la Korean-style with a slab of spicy sauce on the side. They also have a great liquor section with various cheap vodkas, tequilas, and whiskey. If you prefer to just go ahead and immerse yourself as a local, grab a bottle of soju in the refrigerator to the far left of the drink section. Sodas are also available for those who prefer to stay sober.
Just be sure to ask them to replace your grill plate after your first place. It can get quite oily. All this is yours for a rather expensive (for Korea) fee of around 25,000 won per head. (You pay before you are seated.) It's not a bad price to pay if you're really hungry and in the mood to gorge yourself on meat and alcohol. Then it's a real bang for the won. During dinner, the estimated wait time is usually stated to be an hour, but we were seated within 20 minutes. Don't be deterred by the wait time.
