Carnarvon is a rather small coastal town, situated approximately 900 kilometres north of Perth. Shark Bay is the closest tourist destinatoin, which lies south of the town. There isn't much in the town itself, other then some motels but it's a good place to use as a rest spot if you plan on driving along the West coast.

    After getting out of the sheep station nice and early we went down to Coral Bay where we spent the best part of the day, what a beautiful place (yes another one) loads of choices of what to do, quad bike tours, glass bottom boats and snorkling, I chose to go on a Manta Ray boat trip, it cost a bit more than the rest so only 4 of us went, but it was worth every penny and more....firstly the trip involved going looking for Manta Rays to swim with, this is done with the aid of a plane flyin...

    Nous voila arrivés à Carnarvon... On ne sait pas encore ce qu'on va y faire, mais on sait qu'on va y rester un petit temps car le porte- feuille commence à s'alléger sérieusement... (tous les dons sont d'ailleurs les bienvenus). Dans un premier temps nous avons eu des contacts pour travailler à bord d'un crevettier!! Ca aurait été une expérience inoubliable, mais malheureusement, il ne pouvait nous engager qu'en fin février... (trop tard pour nous). Nous donc entrepris la tourné...

    Thedrive out to Kenney ranges was and experience itself. Once again we saw a lot of goats and roadKill . However we saw a lot more Wedge tail eagles and they were huge. Most had wing span of about  2m and woud not even move off the road for us to pass. We had to drive around them. We also had another bird mishap, a pink and grey galah flew straight into our windscreen. We were lucky that it did not smash the windscreen but we do have a little beak mark onthe car now.  We bush camped...
