Authentic Manabita Flavor at Carmita Bar Restaurant Jul 03, 2009

This seafood restaurant was recommended on LP and I wanted to try it. So we did.

Here I had my first Ecuadorian meal and it was a great choice.

The restaurant is small and was crowded. I could see another couple of tourists, but also local families - how nice!

I tried here my 1st Ecuadorian cebiche. It was different than the one I'm used to, but it was very good. I love the shrimps and they were huge. Definitely the best choice to get introduced to Ecuadorian seafood dishes :)

The place is cozy and the staff is very helpful and kind. They have some tables outdoor on the Malecon, so you can enjoy the sun and see the beach while you are having tasty seafood and a cold beer :)
