Not a Good Dive Shop Nov 23, 2009
There are plenty of places to dive in PR, unfortunately it seemed that there wasn't a decent place in San Juan.

After calling several companies we only found Caribe Aquiatic Adventures to be the only one who had an offshore diving. First of all they were WAY to expensive. We got charged $95 for a one tank offshore dive. In costa rica, on a boat it was $85 for a three tank dive. In the US, you can go to $70 for a two tank dive.

Anyways, it was expensive and on a reef that was not natural. There was no coral and no color. This company feeds the fish in the area so it wasn't natural at all. The fish would come up to you because they thought we had food... no other reason. The guide was crawling on the floor and touching all possible coral. If you know about diving, then you know those are signs of crappy scuba divers.

I don't suggest taking classes from them or getting a underwater guide. I just did not feel safe with them.
