Caribbean Club Bonaire Mar 26, 2017
Caribbean club is located a couple kilometres outside of the city centre of Kralendijk. So a car or other type of transport is a must there is no supermarket within walking distance. I believe there are about 35 rooms. Located in the green garden. The rooms are studio apartments, a cottage or penthouse suites/apartments.

We stayed at a cottage, nr 217 to be exact. Entering the room you have a small living and kitchen area. The kitchen is small but holds all the essentials. The living area has two chairs and a couch. There are sliding doors into the patio that overlooks the garden. The patio has a dinning set, 2 lounge beds and (drummroll) hammock. You look out onto a rock formation surrounded by some tree's, a real green environment.

Going back inside there is another door which lead into the bedroom. The bedroom has quit a big bed, a closet, and a tv. In our case there was also a baby bed, though our daughter did not fit ... The bedroom is connected to the bathroom. The bathroom has a shower, large enough for all 3 of us to take a shower together if we would have liked that. A sink and a toilet. The cottage is cleaned every other day and the towels are changed every other day as well.

The surroundings are very, very green, lots of trees, rocks and bushes. We have also seen some lizard, iguana's and colourful birds as it is the perfect habitat for them.

There are two swimming pools, one located at the restaurant/lounge area and one with two pools overlooking the ocean. As Bonaire is a diving place the pools were almost always empty, so we had private pools ;).

There is a breakfast/dinning area. We had breakfast once as we had yet to get a car and go to the grocery store but it wasn't all that. Same for the dinner, it wasn't all that... I would not recommend eating here. Though I would recommend staying here. As it is a quit, green and laid back environment. Close to the great diving/snorkelling spots like 1000 steps. Also not to far from the city centre of Kralendijk.

The place also has free Wi-Fi around the whole complex though it's not the best. At the breakfast/dinner spot the Wi-Fi is a lot beter. But hey, who goes on holiday for the Wi-Fi right?

Reception is open between 9ish and 5ish, I mean we are in the caribbean ;). Check in and check out can be handled her but it is also the place were they can ring a taxi or where you can by your snorkelling/diving licence which is needed if you want to enter the waters of Bonaire (children are free of charge).

Check inn: 15.00 hours

Check out: before 12.00 hours.

Klinkt goed! Heb je je duikbrevet? Bonaire is een duikersparadijs. Mijn zus gaat er begin 2018 voor het derde jaar op rij duiken.
